In this 6-week series, build a deep understanding of the biomechanics of the body and its connections to yoga philosophy while exploring poses typically outside the purview of our regular classes. Postures (āsana) that invite us into anatomical and energetic study and inquiry like inversions, arm balances, and other physically challenging actions, will be part of this exploration. Explore complex asanas in a supportive, engaging environment that’s both challenging, informative, and fun.
While we are committed to offering modifications and variations for all that we are exploring, this class is not ideal for folks with active injuries or who are new to yoga.
The 6-week series will happen with a minimum of 6 attendees. If we reach the minimum, we can open the class up to drop-ins. Registration closes January 13th.
