Embody Freedom: A Six-Week Exploration of Authentic Movement Practices
Authentic Movement is an invitation into embodied self exploration. Participants dive deeply into their moment to moment human experience through spontaneous movement, conscious witnessing practices and creative forming (drawing, journaling, etc.). By following the flow of internal sensations & impulses without premeditated demands or external soundscapes participants discover an exquisite freedom to fully "be". The practice simultaneously nurtures a rich creative resource from within while developing profound spiritual insight into the nature of all experience.
This six week series with Rebecca Foster offers an opportunity to explore all aspects of the authentic movement practice through structured exercises, art making & reflection. The series is appropriate for both beginners and more experienced movers. Each weekly class builds on what came before. Please register in advance as spaces are limited and a minimum number of participants is required for the series to take place.
