Anusara Yoga weaves together bio-mechanically precise, clear alignment with heart-centered yoga philosophy. Anusara is made of two Sanskrit roots: Anu- which refers to our individual self, and -Sāra which refers to our essence of being. Anusara is therefore a practice of experiencing the relationship between our individuality and the Absolute as it flows through us. The class bring our attention to specific actions to hone awareness and open subtle channels of energy. We then actively move the energy through our body to cultivate steadiness, strength, and freedom.
