EHS – Wisdom of the Heart
From September 25 to November 27, 2026
The Non-dual Śākta-Śaiva Tantric lineage stream proposes living liberation as the birthright and highest potentiality of all people. Living liberation means being alive in a body, including the built-in limitations in time and space, and simultaneously abiding in a state of complete an unbounded freedom inextricably saturated with love-bliss. The process of moving from an experience of bondage and limitation into such a condition of living liberation hinges on the pivot between ignorance and knowledge.
The Śākta-Śaiva teachings articulate with extraordinary delicacy and power the process of refining knowledge. Refined knowledge increasingly brings us into alignment with the layered domains of Reality. This true knowledge includes experiential or "spiritual" knowledge and conceptual "intellectual" knowledge, each of which counteracts and undoes corresponding forms of ignorance. Refined knowledge becomes th pathway to wisdom, the wisdom of the true Heart.
To be fully aligned with and moved by this great Wisdom means to continuously receive and respond to the highest intelligence that moves through us, as us. From this highest alignment with the pulsation of life, we grow into living our best and highest possible life. This course investigates knowledge, ignorance, the movement between the two, which is part of the divine sequence of consciousness. This process is what untethers our condition of limitation and opens it into states of ever-increasing freedom. The growth of ecstatic freedom permits us to express our highest compassion, which is the true nature of the Heart of Wisdom.
EHS - Wisdom of the Heart studies include selections from Abhinavagupta’s Tantrasāra and Tantrāloka, the Śiva Sūtras and the Pratyabhijñā-hṛdayam.
