Continuing Education For Yoga Teachers
This two-hour workshop for Yoga Teachers and Teachers-in-Training offers support and expertise in various subjects of the art and science of teaching yoga. This will be a monthly workshop with varying themes and topics each month. Each workshop will have a didactic portion, an experiential component, as well as a practicum element where teachers teach each other the skills we are focusing on in each particular monthly teaching.
February’s focus: Weaving the thematic poem throughout the class. Bring a poem or reading you might use as a class theme, and we’ll look at how to weave it through the class, rather than just leaving it at the beginning. This is the key to helping your students experience the theme of the poem/reading in their movements and be reminded of it at strategic points of practice.
